Effective date: September 19, 2026.
User responsibility
Users may upload only content they own or are authorized to use, display, transmit, and deliver. This includes music, footage, photographs, graphics, logos, performances, locations, and third-party work incorporated into a project.
Copyright complaints
A rights holder or authorized agent may send a notice identifying the copyrighted work, the specific Shootr material at issue, enough information for Shootr to locate it, contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and the sender is authorized, and a physical or electronic signature.
Response
Shootr may remove or restrict access to disputed content, notify the affected user, request more information, preserve relevant records, and act against repeat infringers. Shootr may reject incomplete, fraudulent, or abusive notices.
Counter-notices
Where applicable, an affected user may submit a legally sufficient counter-notice identifying the removed content, stating under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, providing required contact and jurisdictional consent information, and signing the notice. Restoration is subject to applicable law.
Repeat infringement
Shootr may restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or repeatedly submit content they are not authorized to use.
Contact
Send copyright reports and questions to founder@shootrapp.com. Include enough information to identify your work and locate the reported content. Do not include unrelated sensitive information.
