How Shootr handles information when you connect, create, book, and share.

Effective date: August 8, 2026

Shootr LLC (“Shootr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Shootr mobile application and this website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use Shootr.

Shootr is a creative marketplace and social platform. Some information you choose to make public—such as your profile, portfolio posts, public gear listings, followers, and ratings—can be viewed by other Shootr users.

Information we collect

How we use information

We use information to operate Shootr, create and secure accounts, display profiles and portfolios, process and manage bookings, support payments and payouts, deliver messages and files, personalize local discovery, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our rules, and improve the service.

How information is shared

We share information with the people necessary to provide Shootr. For example, profile and public-post information is visible according to your privacy settings; booking information is shared with the client or creative involved in that booking; and messages and shared materials are available to participants in the conversation. We also use service providers that help us run Shootr, including hosting, authentication, media storage, notifications, mapping/location, and payment providers such as Stripe.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the safety, rights, and property of Shootr or others, or in connection with a business transfer.

Your choices and controls

You can update much of your profile and privacy information from the app. You can control profile and gear visibility where those controls are provided. You can report or block accounts in the app. You may request account deletion through Settings → Manage account → Delete account. Deleting an account may not remove information that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, payment, tax, dispute-resolution, or security purposes.

Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee complete security.

Children

Shootr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Shootr grows. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date.
