Terms of Service

The basic rules for using Shootr responsibly and safely.

Effective date: August 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Shootr, operated by Shootr LLC. By creating an account or using Shootr, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These are a strong working draft for the public site. Before public launch, Shootr LLC should have a qualified attorney review them for your business, state, and payment flow.

Using Shootr

You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use Shootr lawfully. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your location and at least 13 years old to use Shootr.

Marketplace role

Shootr helps clients and creatives discover each other, communicate, arrange bookings, handle payments, and deliver creative work. Unless Shootr clearly says otherwise, Shootr is not a party to the agreement between a client and creative, does not employ creatives, and does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, timing, or outcome of any booking.

Bookings, payments, and cancellations

Booking details, pricing, acceptance, payment, completion, cancellation, and ratings are governed by the information shown in the app at the time of the booking. Payments and payouts are processed through Stripe and may be subject to Stripe’s terms. Shootr may charge platform fees disclosed in the app. Users must honor agreed booking commitments and use the cancellation tools and deadlines provided in the app.

Safety and conduct

Do not use Shootr to harass, threaten, defraud, impersonate, exploit, or harm anyone. Do not post illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, infringing, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited content. Do not use the app to collect personal data without permission, evade a block, interfere with the service, or attempt unauthorized access. Users should use good judgment when meeting in person and report safety concerns through the app or to local emergency services when appropriate.

Your content and creative work

You retain ownership of content you create and upload, subject to the rights needed to operate Shootr—for example, to store, display, transmit, and deliver that content as directed by you. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload and share your content.

When a client submits a booking request, the client agrees that the creative may share the resulting work in the creative’s Shootr portfolio and social media, subject to any agreed written restrictions, applicable law, and any rights of people appearing in the work. Clients and creatives are responsible for discussing and documenting special privacy, confidentiality, and usage requirements before the booking is accepted.

Reports, blocks, and enforcement

You can report or block users through Shootr. We may investigate reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or terminate accounts when we believe it is necessary to protect users or enforce these Terms.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Shootr is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shootr LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for disputes, losses, injuries, or conduct arising from interactions or transactions between users.

Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms or the service as Shootr evolves. If you continue using Shootr after an updated version takes effect, you agree to the updated Terms. You may stop using Shootr or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or end access to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
