Safety & Live Jobs

Practical rules for in-person creative work.

Effective date: September 19, 2026.

Before the job

Review the other user’s profile, confirm the scope and meeting address, communicate through Shootr, tell a trusted person where appropriate, and choose a lawful location suitable for the work. Do not proceed when identity, payment, location, behavior, or requested work creates a serious concern.

Live-job status and location

Live-job tools may show status, timing, directions, and permission-based location to the other authorized booking participant. Location can be inaccurate or delayed. Sharing should begin only for the intended job purpose. Leaving the Live Job screen does not stop an active sharing session. Use Stop sharing or withdraw device permission to stop it yourself. Sharing stops when the job ends or is cancelled. The travelled trail clears at that point, while the last saved position and related booking records may remain as described in the Privacy Policy.

Role-specific controls

Only the role authorized by the product may start or end the job timer. Status controls are coordination records, not a guarantee that a person arrived, performed satisfactory work, or is safe. Users must report incorrect or unauthorized status changes.

Safety audio

Safety recording is optional and is not an emergency-response service. The person starting a recording must provide notice and obtain consent whenever required. Do not secretly record where prohibited. Saved recordings are private to authorized booking participants and service administration; they are not public posts. Recordings are not automatically erased when a job ends. See the Privacy Policy for retention and deletion requests. Shootr may preserve a recording when required for an incident, dispute, legal hold, or law.

Emergencies and unsafe conduct

Leave the area and contact local emergency services if anyone is in immediate danger. Use Shootr’s report and block tools for non-emergency concerns. Do not confront another user solely to collect evidence.

Privacy and misuse

Do not publish another user’s live location, meeting address, safety recording, private messages, or personal information. Do not use safety tools to stalk, monitor, threaten, embarrass, retaliate against, or obtain unrelated information about another person.

No guarantee

Shootr’s safety tools supplement—not replace—personal judgment, venue security, insurance, emergency services, and lawful safety planning. Shootr cannot guarantee identity, conduct, arrival, prevention, rescue, evidence quality, or a particular outcome.
